Our loot system is designed to make our guild progress fast and is fair to the raiders. It goes by your rank. The ranks in the guild from high to low are Guild Master, Officer, Veteran, Member, and Initiate. Loot will go to the highest rank first, then if they don't need, it will go down through the ranks. Let's say a Veteran and a Member both need some epic boots. The Veteran will automatically get the boots. Although if it is necessary, the officers will discuss who exactly deserves the piece of loot. Now if 2 of the same rank both need the same piece of gear, they will roll on it and the higher roll will receive the loot. During the raid, a person can only receive one piece of loot, unless loot drops that nobody needs, then this piece of loot will not count as your one loot limit. If you receive a loot over someone else, that counts as your one loot. You cannot need on something else that someone other than you needs during that whole raid. The purpose of this is to insure that as many people as possible can gear up in one night and to be fair to all raiders. Tank gear is often an exception to these rules. Having a good, geared tank is a great way to progress in endgame content. This means we have to gear the tanks fast. For MEMBER tanks and above, if you need tank gear, which also means tier gear, the highest ranking tank will automatically recieve the loot. For example, if the Officer Xarick needs the T4 pants, and so does the Member druid tank, the T4 pants will go to the Member druid tank. Now, if the Initiate tank needs the T4 pants and so does Xarick, the pants will go to the Officer Xarick. This may not seem fair to the non-tanks that need the same token/loot as the tanks, but having a geared tank=less wipes!
